The restaurant’s four-course dinner includes Matzo Ball Soup, Pickled King Salmon, 12-hour Smoked Brisket with Onion Jus and Flourless Chocolate Cake. For Passover this year, Canela will be offering their annual four-course menu with optional add-ons. The menu will be available for in-person dining and take out orders from Tuesday, April 4th – Thursday, April 15th. For the first time, Pomella will host a community seder. Like Mica Talmor’s popular Chef’s Table events, guests will sit at communal tables with food served family style. This multi-course meal is a collaboration with Aliza Grayevsky Somech, chef from Bishulim in San Francisco, who will guide diners through script, story and a tradition of hope and inclusion. Following the blessings will be Matzah ball soup, lamb meatball tagine, potato kugel, spring salad, and vegetarian stuffed artichoke bottoms. Adrestia is celebrating Easter with the debut of its new brunch menu on Sunday, April 9. The a la carte menu is shaped by local and seasonal ingredients, Japanese and broader Asian cuisines, and the Valley’s warm Mediterranean climate. Chef Hideki Myo taps into culinary traditions from Japan while focusing on the modern, seasonal cooking he has done for more than two decades in California. One Market Restaurant will host their annual Valentine’s Day dinner on Tuesday, February 14th. The menu will consist of an amuse bouche followed by an appetizer, entree, and dessert to complete the three-courses. Diners will be able to choose from a variety of options (if dining with a partner or group, we always recommend trying different dishes and sharing amongst your party). Guests can expect to find Hama Hama Oysters on the Half Shell – ponzu, green apple, wasabi tobiko and Lightly Smoked Tasmanian Sea Trout “Mi Cuit” – rössti, 62 degree egg, pancetta vinaigrette on the appetizer list with Grilled Lamb Loin Chops and Bacon Wrapped Day Boat Scallops available for the entree course. Decorated to harness 1970’s glam, the restaurant’s food and drink will revive the nostalgic time period as well. Dishes such as Dungeness Crab Louie, Swedish Meatballs, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake will all make an appearance made with alley & vine’s signature twist. A disco DJ will transport guests back to the 70’s with a combination of the classic hits from 7:30pm just past midnight. Matthew Bruno Wines

Family-owned Napa Valley winery, Mathew Bruno Wines, is excited to release its 2020 Los Carneros Blanc de Blancs Sparkling. It will be available for purchase in early December – just in time for New Year’s Eve! Toast to 2023 with this sparkling wine and your family and friends! 

This sparkling wine is produced by the age-old tradition of Méthode Champenoise, during which secondary fermentation occurs in the bottle – a style from which only the finest sparkling wines are produced. It is then laid down to cellar “en tirage” for over 12 months. The prolonged aging allows the wine to interact with the yeast in the bottle further complexing the aromas and flavors. Effervescent aromas of green apple and tropical notes evolve into a crisp citrus taste, balanced acidity and fine bubbles. It finishes with a refreshingly pleasant splash of green pear and tropical flavors for all to enjoy.

Chef Dustin Valette’s newest concept, The Matheson, will be offering a special six-course Chef’s Tasting Menu in the main dining room in celebration of New Year’s Eve. Chef Dustin Valette’s eponymous restaurant, Valette, will be offering a special six-course Chef’s Tasting Menu for New Year’s Eve. Valette’s Christmas Eve tasting menu spotlights seasonal flavors in elevated dishes, including Porcini and Ham, Apple Glazed Pheasant Dou, American Wagyu Filet and more. The menu is available for $150 per person with optional supplements and wine pairings from the best of Sonoma County and beyond. Afternoon Nutcracker Tea 

Starting December 1st, relish in SF Proper’s time-honored tradition of Nutcracker Afternoon Tea in the art-filled lounge and dining room. Presented by Proper’s pastry Chef, Samara Wales, guests can savor herbal tea, festive sweets, and seasonal bites–plus guests with a Nutcracker Tea reservation will receive raffle tickets for either SF Ballet, SF Broadway or Proper Hotel stays!

The SF Proper Hotel will also begin collecting toys to contribute to the SF Firefighters Toy Program for the 2022 holiday season. When dining at Villon or attending Afternoon Tea in the Lounge, guests are encouraged to drop off a new and packaged gift in the lobby toy chest anytime between Friday December 2nd and December 25th. A Nikkei-inspired Christmas Dinner at Adrestia (available December 20 through Christmas Day) 

Executive Chef Hideki Myo and Food & Beverage Director Ana Artadi take inspiration from their Japanese and Peruvian backgrounds to present a four-course Nikkei-inspired Christmas dinner, available at Adrestia through the holiday week (December 20 through Christmas Day, December 25).  Menu highlights include Jagaimo Rellenas – plant based “beef”, toma-katsu sauce, Corvina Nikkei, ahi panca with konbu dashi and Wagyu Lomo Saltado with whisky barrel aged soy sauce, fries and black rice. End the meal with a traditional Peruvian dessert – Panetón Bread Pudding with tahitian vanilla ice cream, hot chocolate 

Nikkei-cuisine is a combination of both Japanese and Peruvian ingredients and is a cooking style that prominently features Peruvian ingredients molded by Japanese techniques. The style of cuisine dates back to the late 1800s when Japanese immigrants arrived in Peru. Chef Myo and Ana have collaborated on a menu that showcases food at the center of their cultures – offering guests a new way to celebrate the holidays this year.  

The Nikkei Christmas menu is $125 per person and includes a complimentary Pisco Sour to start. Additional beverage pairing is $85.  Adrestia is open for dinner nightly from 5pm – 10pm. On Christmas Day, the restaurant is open from 4pm – 8pm. RESERVATIONS
